Personal introduction: Dr. Fang Yu obtained his master's degree in Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010. He graduated with a Ph..D from the University of Tokyo in March 2014. He continued his postdoctoral research at the University of Tokyo in Japan from 2014 to 2015. He conducted another postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University in the United States from April 2015 to September 2019. He was awarded "National Science Foundation"(NSF) as the Project Investigator in Texas A&M University. During hisgraduate studies and postdoctoral work, he mainly devoted myself to the research of "porous coordination materials", focusing on the construction of novel porous coordination cages (PCC) and metal-organic frameworks (MOF), regulating their pore structure, controlling the loading and assembly of guest molecules within the pores, and making progress in enhancing the conversion and loading of energy gases, as well as anti-cancer nanotherapies. Since 2019, he started his independent career at Hunan University. In 2020, he won a govenment grant for young excellent researchers. He also was granted three "National Science Foundation of China"(NSFC) and three provincial foundations. As the first author or corresponding author, a total of 70 academic papers have been published in international and domestic journals, including Chem. Soc. Rev, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angewante. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem (Cell Journal), etc. Eight papers have been selected as ESI "highly cited" (1%), five as "hot papers", and six as "cover papers", with over 6000 citations.
